Scandinavian Chic is one way to describe the headquarters of Bryr Studios, in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. Housed within a former factory for clogs from the 1970s, Bryr pays homage to its predecessor in both style and form.
Why this space works:
Utilizing a limited color palette, Bryr's space is clean, airy and showcases the craftsmanship that goes into each pair of handmade clogs. Within the space, they have made Ikea furnishings their own with custom touches like leather handles and floor to ceiling shelving. Most of the furniture has wheels for easy moving and reconfiguration as they enter different seasons of productivity and growth. The concrete, industrial floors are offset by lighter, mostly wooden furnishings above.
Key materials: Sheepskin, white upholstered linen, birch, and leather
